What gets me through the day

Ageela is an eighth grader who talks so infrequently that when she does, it startles me because I don't recognize her voice. Today, the students had to write a thank you note to someone who has inspired them to be a leader. When we were leaving, she handed me this:

Just when you start to think that you aren't making a difference...

  2. How precious!
A.) That your Mom reads your blog ;)
B.) Your student! Isn't it great when people thank you for something you didn't even know you were doing intentially?
We rec'd a letter similar to this from a girl who is in ROTC with Eric. Our church does a live online service and we always link up to facebook and invite everyone to come to church with us. Last Easter, Bud was in the Easter production and a few cadets came to support him. After weeks of seeing our facebook links this girl started visiting church regularly and recently thanked us for being role models. Can I say my heart melted and tears ran down my cheeks because I didn't even know I was doing anything.
    Keep up the good work!
