If you've been using the site, you probably know that Picnik is gone. Rest in peace, awesome, free, easy, online photo editing site.
Now that it's gone, I need something different. And I am still anti-Google+ for some reason that I can't totally articulate. And Picasa is sometimes too cumbersome. And I haven't yet taken the time to learn how to use Photoshop.
Enter Pic Monkey.
It reminds me a lot of Picnik. It's super easy to use - you don't even need to register. I think it's missing some of the fancier Picnik tools, but I didn't really know how to use those anyway. This one has teeth whitening and add text. Which is enough for me.
Just kidding. It also has cropping, resizing, and my very favorite - AUTOFIX.
It's not perfect, but it works. Have you tried it yet? Do you know how to use any of the fancy features?

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this! It's way better than the one I've been using in place if picnik!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite picnik replacement as well. I hate that they sold out to Google+.
ReplyDeleteI love PicMonkey, saves me a ton of time not having to mess with Photoshop and figure it out..And Google Plus I'm trying hard to figure it out but I don't like it either.. but right now I'm a tad fed up with Google.. I'm debating about switching to Word Press

I just used it to make some collages & add text and it was so easy to use! I found the step by step instructions on Something Swanky. Here's the link if you're interested. http://www.somethingswanky.com/2012/04/how-to-make-collage-in-picmonkey.html
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I haven't used it yet. I have Picasa on my home computer and use it for most things, but I did use Picnik for certain features. I'll have to check out Pic Monkey!
ReplyDeleteYou gave nice ideas here. I done a research on the issue and learn most peoples will agree with your blog. Certainly, these practices are unfair;
ReplyDeletebut they say that most of their rules are only to apply to people who overdraw.
